Well Im employed full time as a welder and live in a small town south of st cloud. I really love heavy metal music, it pumps me up all the time. I ride dirtbike in the summer and snowboard and snomobile in the winter. Im an avid hunter and fishermen. Ducks are probably my favorite things to hunt. A little about me: I am going to school for nursing. Right now I am a LPN working on my RN. After that I will be going to the Cities to get my Masters in Nursing. I should have 2 years left of school after this spring. I am an assistant wrestling coach, and track coach at the local high school. It helps me stay in shape and I like helping the kids out. I like the feeling that I am helping them improve and helping them reach their goals.

I love being outside and doing pretty much anything. I hunt, fish, go camping, canoeing, doing anything around water, and like to sit around bon fires. No, wait. They would be typing. Aw, crap. Whatever.

I think I'm pretty easy to get along with as long as you aren't an ass or hit those points listed above. I really want a band. My friends suck though, and aren't really interested in music. I like being random. I feel I'm pretty philosophical at times. I like to think things out and wonder how minds work and understand why we do the things we do; Why God made us, and big questions that don't have any answers like that. My English teacher would have murdered me for that massive run-on sentence. I feel I'm an old soul and have been told so. I also feel that my social development has been stunted due to friends that don't invite me to anything, clinging family, and living out in the middle of a cornfield. (Look, I'm playing an air violin.) I'd really like to make a living as a musician. That's what I want to do. To make people feel emotions differently and stronger, see ideas from another point of view, and spread the word of God all through catchy and good music.

Actually, I've kind of given up. Be it hurt, stuck in a rut, or just not looking. Don't get me wrong, if you talk to me, I'll probably answer. Just because I've somewhat given up on having a relationship with someone, doesn't mean I'm not looking for friends. Some of my best friends are some I haven't even met.

I'm a rather peculiar individual I suppose. If I come across a good book I won't stop reading it until I'm done. Sometimes it bothers others when I just vanish off into the world of a new book. Then of course there is movie time, which I simply love watching movies. I don't watch much TV and usually it's only to watch Spongebob Squarepants. I enjoy many things, on a good beautiful day I love to just walk around with no real place to go. I'm huge into music, I plan on learning the piano, guitar, and bass guitar.

I'm also a very ambitious person. Though my ambitions are usually roadblocked by many things. I suppose the last things for this self summary is that, by now I'm sure you've noticed, my spelling can be nearly impeccable, as is my grammar depending on my mood. Yes I love comma splices, they make sentences more juicy from a theatrical perspective. Each comma splice indicates a slightly separate beat to the words. Then there is a single well founded rule I have with myself. Anyone can ask me anything, and anyone has a chance to get close to me.

I wouldn't quite say I am ready, willing, and able, but it works for the time being. I would say I am quiet, but I am afraid to say that I'm shy. I like to tell jokes, but I am over flamboyant about my humor. I like to write and would someday like to become an elementary ed teacher and hopefully a screenwriter someday.

Don't judge me for living in Hutchinson! It's not permanent. I don't like it or anything.

I graduated in May 2008 with a B.A. in communications. I feel as though I should pursue further education, but I've not yet picked a field of study.

I'm a nerd, but in the good way. I like lists. When I'm with my friends, we: play homemade Pictionary with 8 word phrases (such as "naked, disgruntled bear and Hitler bake banana bread"), make fun of trivial pursuit questions, cook large dinners with extra bread, drink red wines named "El Bully," discuss former first ladies (give it up for Bess Truman!), shop, debate ridiculous things like whether 1987 or 1997 was a better year...

When I'm at work, I'm teaching 9th and 12th graders that English rocks, and when I come home from work I have nightmares about students not doing their homework or growing tentacles. I also waste time on Wikipedia looking up useless, wonderful knowledge.

I like to keep myself busy. I play guitar when nobody else is around to lie and tell me "that sounded alright cough." I buy books. I try new recipes, sometimes.

I like Las Vegas much more than the Grand Canyon, and although I see the beauty in both, I just don't think they offer enough neon lights or gambling at Grand Canyon National Park. Although the amount of old people on scooters is equal at both places.

I like road trips and I like asking people questions that make them feel smart.

When I'm alone, I: think of crazy, long phrases for Pictionary games, read, and listen to records. Notoriously, I dig any music pre-1980. I have a bunch of Sinatra records. I like anything, with the exception of "soft jazz." But I love The Beatles, Elvis, Willie Nelson, Dean Martin, and anything else that is considered classic. The blues; Stevie Ray Vaughn. My taste includes classical music--Beethoven, Barber. My two last itunes downloads were the Thelma Houston song "Don't Leave Me this Way" and the "She and Him" album. Nothing alike, both awesome.

I think of metaphors all day and then I write them down. I wonder why the sky downtown looks lavender all the time. I look at catalogs for fun and wonder where couches might look good in rooms, or what hats might look good on heads. At the movie store I always pick out the ones with the indie awards, and I go to the library to rent documentaries. I listen to MPR at work. I think everybody says this on their profile, but: I'm an easygoing person. My best quality is my ability to understand situations from another person's perspective. I like to "talk it out," but I also understand the need for space.

I have been known to start discussions about: Literature theory, sharks (did you know they never sleep? Did you know they have 5 babies in utero but only birth one because the babies eat each other?), the British tudor line just so I know it, moustaches.

My friendships matter to me more than anything, and I would hope that anyone I dated and I would develop a similar, yet romantic, connection that is like I have with my best friend. Meaning: he's able to find the good things in daily life (and can laugh at them). He likes to use parentheses as much as I do. He's passionate about certain things--whether it's literature, work, politics, art...and he's socially charming. He sleeps in sometimes. Doing nothing is important, and so is getting out. He likes cartoons, or will only slightly tease when I watch them.

I know that a lot of people say that a sense of humor is important. They're right. I like sarcasm, and dry, clever humor. Wit rocks. It means a lot to be challenged by someone intellectually, and it's just as important to be able to laugh with someone.

I don't think I could date a man who refuses to slow dance because he "doesn't like dancing." Sometimes when you're alone and cooking breakfast, you just need to have a dance.
